The jacket has been tested in independent labs around the world and in the field across two full seasons of hard deployment. With 28 months of development, 21 samples and a full technical analysis of water flow including mapping, tracking runoff and shedding ability, you are now looking at New Zealand's most waterproof hunting jacket.
Coated in DOR® (Durable Omni Repellent) to enhance the repellence of water, blood, mud, oil, ice, etc., the external layer is tested to withstand 40,000 mm of water over 24 hours. The inner layer of the jacket is made up of a ceramic heat lining that retains heat, just like a ceramic teapot, and increases your surface temperature by 1-2°C. Throughout the jacket, we have installed YKK’s premium AquaGuard® zips (yes, also the pockets), and in each sleeve, you’ll find a hidden internal thermal retention cuff to keep the heat in.
